Fulfillment starts at $2.25 per order, excluding the carrier’s shipping charge. Below is every category that can appear on your invoice, and the four that never will.
Fulfillment is priced per activity, not as one flat fee — which is why a rate card is quoted rather than published. These are the categories. Your quote puts a number against the ones you actually use.
| Fee | What it covers | How it is measured |
|---|---|---|
| Onboarding | Account setup, WMS configuration, integration and your first inbound. | One-off, quoted with your rate card. |
| Receiving | Unloading, counting, QC and putaway of inbound shipments. | Per carton, pallet or unit, by how goods arrive. |
| Storage | Space your inventory occupies between arriving and shipping. | Per pallet, shelf or bin, billed monthly. |
| Pick & pack | Retrieving each item and assembling the order. | Per order, with a per-item rate after the first. |
| Packaging | Boxes, mailers, void fill and tape. | At cost, or nothing when you supply your own. |
| Shipping | The carrier’s charge for moving the parcel. | Passed through at our negotiated rates. Not marked up. |
| Returns | Receiving, inspecting, and restocking or disposing of a return. | Per return, by disposition. |
| Value-added work | Kitting, assembly, labelling, inserts, Amazon Transparency codes. | Per unit or per hour, quoted for the job. |
Our own 3PL pricing guide walks through each of these in detail, including the surcharges worth asking any provider about.

Every line on your invoice matches a line on your rate card.
Carrier costs are passed through, not resold.

Fulfillment starts at $2.25 per order, excluding the carrier’s shipping charge. Where you land above that depends on order size, how many items you ship per order, your SKU count and your monthly volume, which is why the number comes from a quote rather than a bracket.
One published number would be wrong for almost everyone. A brand shipping 200 single-item orders a month and one shipping 20,000 multi-item orders cost very different amounts to serve, and quoting them the same rate means one is subsidising the other. We price against your actual order profile instead.
No. The per-order rate covers our handling. Carrier postage is billed separately at our negotiated rates and passed through without a markup.
Seven to ten days from signed agreement to your first order shipping, including integration and receiving your first inbound.
Yes, per return, by what happens to it. Inspecting and restocking a sellable unit costs less than processing a disposal.
Monthly order volume, average items per order, your SKU count, and roughly how much space your inventory takes. A current invoice from another 3PL is faster still.
Send your monthly order count, average items per order and SKU count. We come back with a rate card built against your actual profile, not a bracket.
